Yep! BREAD was founded by Maeva Heim in 2020. Maeva spent a lot of time hanging around her Mum’s braiding salon in Perth, Australia, as a tiny and impressionable human. Beauty and hair products punctuated her everyday with smells and sights and textures made for the styling and cultivation of womanhood.

She went on to spend her early career working behind the scenes of global 'big box' beauty brands. But something didn't feel right. She wasn't really acknowledged in mainstream hair conversations, and struggled to find clean hair products that were uncomplicated, practical, and fun.

Yes, BREAD only launched in 2020. But Maeva traces the beginnings of BREAD back to the 90s, on that salon floor. The braiding tutorials, storytelling, familiar faces and close-knit community of women with curly, coiled and textured hair was her Mum’s own version of BREAD.

Yes <3 our products are designed for every curl, wave and coil. Our founder, Maeva has 4C hair herself, so each formula was specifically designed to work on textured hair.

While we're all about the curls, we also just make really good hair products. A lot of our lineup (like best selling clear-wash, hair-oil and hair-mask) work great on straight hair. You can filter by hair-type as you shop for guidance.

Yep. Everything that comes out of the bakery (lol) is vegan. We've worked hard to find biomimetic solutions and vegan alternatives so our products have the same impact, *sans* the animal.

Yes! We're gentle on hair, the earth and animals too. We're proud to be ~cruelty free~ <3

Nope - all our products are silicone and paraben free. While some people are pro silicone/paraben, it's not for us.

Yep! The beauty of clean formulations is, they're pretty gentle on your hair. All our products are color safe.

We think you make good hair, and we created a line of haircare basics - think, products that are easy to use, suitable for all hair types, and buildable for your preferred routine. Formulated for reliability and consistency, BREAD takes out the guess work - so you can spend time doing everything but your hair.

Like fresh treats from *that* one local bakery or restocking your signature brand of soy milk, the 'essentials' can be exciting when you know where to look, and when you find what's right for you.

We offer domestic shipping to all areas of the United States.

All orders will be processed within 3 business days. You’ll receive an email notification once your order has shipped. 

After being processed, for express orders, your BREAD will arrive within 1-4 business days. Orders with standard shipping will arrive within 3-10 business days. Our warehouse is located on the west coast. Thanks to our delivery partners, you won’t be waiting long, no matter where you wash.

You’ll get a shipment notification email with a tracking number as soon as your package ships (so you can watch BREAD on the move). Processing can take around 3 business days.

Refund - Change of Mind

For unopened products, you have 30 days to return your order. As we are a small business, we are unable to provide postage for returns. Please email us at help@breadbeautysupply.com with “Return Request” as your subject line and we will revert with the address to send your unopened return to.

Send your tracking number to the email immediately after placing in the post, and once it arrives we will process your refund. If we do not receive your tracking information before delivery at our warehouse, we will not be able to process your refund.

For any defects we offer refunds or replacements. We offer refunds in the unlikely event of a reaction. If you have any questions please email us at help@breadbeautysupply.com with “return help” as your subject line.

Lost in transit

We give our carriers 4 weeks for your BREAD to be delivered from the date it leaves the warehouse. If the package does not move within 4 weeks, you have the option to refund or re-ship the product. This is us absorbing the carrier’s mistake so we appreciate your patience in ensuring the package is truly lost. If you would like a faster response, please file a claim with directly with the carrier. 

Note on Resellers

Unless otherwise agreed with the Brand in writing, we do not authorize the distribution or reselling of BREAD product. We will not offer refunds or returns to those who are resellers, and we reserve the right to cancel orders from suspected resellers.
