The mint-colored Millefiori glass beads are handmade, one by one, and decorated with a white daisy pattern. The process involves fusing layers of glass rods together to create a mosaic-like flower design. Our braid-beads are produced out of a small studio in Murano, Italy, and sold by a family-owned company in the US. Due to the handmade process, each bead is unique in pattern and shape. Internal diameter: ~ 5mm
We’re honored to partner with Yam in our very first BREAD 4 BREAD collaboration.
Our goal is to facilitate circular economic value, by partnering with BIPOC owned brands (who have huge potential, but not a huge spotlight yet), and giving them the stage to be discovered, and provide both short and longer-term commercial value.
A driving force behind starting BREAD was our founder Maeva’s desire to see more BIPOC women in the C-suite. Not just working behind the scenes, but owning and running their own brands. Brands that could go on to fuel their net worth, and in turn, help to build generational wealth.
There is no shortage of exceptional BIPOC owned brands. But often, because of structures in place, they can be harder to find, and are less likely to be spotlighted. So, BREAD 4 BREAD is our starting point. A way for us to give back in a manner that feels true to our brand.
Yam is a New York based jewellery brand.
Yam was conceived when Morgan’s mom brought home a jewelry-making book when Morgan was young. This activity unknowingly implanted an idea for a company later recognizing her legacy.
The brand embraces vintage silhouettes and feel-good materials, pearls and charming nature motifs. Yam is here to remind you of what you know and once knew.
